OUR BOOKING POINT for Hermes II and Talaria is situated in the
Hermes II shop in Kystens Hus in the centre of Tromsø. Ask us
about our exciting adventures at sea – either with the cutter from
1917 or with our exclusive RIB – and perhaps book your trip.
IN THE SHOP you will find specially designed Hermes II products that are sold exclusivly in our shop alongside SCANDINAVIAN DESIGN made locally, in Norway or in the Nordic countries.
BOOK YOUR BOAT TRIP with Hermes II or Talaria at our shop in Kystens Hus by Stortorget in downtown Tromsø. Ask us about the coastal experiences we offer – on our beautiful cutter from 1917 or our modern RIB – and maybe you’ll be tempted to join a trip?
IN THE SHOP you’ll find our own Hermes II-designed products, available exclusively in our store, along with exciting SCANDINAVIAN DESIGN from local, national, and Nordic producers.
We know that Hermes II is a unique boat. It has navigated between small and even tiny places in Northern Norway, transported coal, fish, animals, houses and churches. The boat also participated in the evacuation after the burning of Finnmark and Nord-Troms during World War II, and it contributed to the reconstruction of the area after the war. It has left the quay on stormy winter days and has navigated along beautiful coastlines under a shining midnight sun for over 100 years. Its history is enshrined in the hull. It’s a history you will hear more about when you join us on a trip.
Tours depart from the quay by Kystens hus in central Tromsø, a short walk from the city centre and the Hurtigruten terminal. The exact meeting point is on your ticket and on each tour page.
Kystens hus, Stortorget 1, 9008 Tromsø
The northern lights season in Tromsø runs roughly from late September to late March. The Northern Lights Dinner Cruise runs in this period. The aurora is a natural phenomenon and can never be guaranteed, but getting away from the city lights out on the water gives you a good chance.
