In Hermes II AS, we treat your personal information securely and with respect. Why do we store personal data?

It may also be appropriate to store information in order to send you information about your desired products and services and any relevant offers.

How do we process personal data?

We use some systems that may be importance for you when you contact us. The following outlines the most important systems and how we use them:

  • Zendesk is our support system. This is used to send requests or feedback to us. Cases submitted here are stored for as long as you are a customer with us, or for up to three years, so that we can respond to you more quickly next time.
  • Newsletter: If we want to send you a newsletter, you should have said “yes” to receiving it beforehand.
  • E-mail: E-mails to us are stored according to the same guidelines as for Zendesk. We encourage our customers to refrain from sending sensitive information via unencrypted e-mail.
  • Contact form: Your contact form is only stored for as long as it is required for the contact we have with you.
  • Facebook: Facebook is part of our marketing communication. We do not store information from Facebook other than what concerns your customer contact with us. Direct messages are forwarded to our support system for an effective response.
  • Accounts: Information needed to receive and send invoices is stored.
  • File archive: We use a local, secure server for storing files associated with our customers.

We are legally required to comply at all times with applicable legislation for the processing of personal data.

Our general manager is responsible at all times for the processing of personal data. They are responsible for monitoring the storage, updating and deletion of all the information we have.
