What kind of fishing?
We fish with a simple hand line for whatever the sea offers – often cod and saithe, depending on the season and conditions. No experience needed; the crew shows you everything, and children are often the keenest on board.
Aboard Hermes II
Hermes II is a calm, restored wooden boat, and that shapes the whole trip. Instead of speed and noise you get time to take in the landscape, feel the calm at sea and hear the story of the boat while your line is out. If it gets cold, there’s a heated saloon to warm up in.
The catch – served fresh on board
If we’re lucky with the catch, the fish is cooked on board and served fresh with butter and flatbread. Few things taste better than fish you caught yourself, eaten on deck with a view of Tromsø and the mountains.
